Supporting Future Practitioners and Volunteers

Our clinic is proud to support the next generation of mental health professionals through our student and volunteer programs. We provide hands-on learning opportunities for students in psychology, psychotherapy, social work, and related fields, allowing them to gain valuable experience under the guidance of our experienced team. Our dedicated volunteers also play a vital role in fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for our clients.

Students and Volunteers

Ava Hazerichabok (she/her)

Ava is a third-year Psychology B.A. student at York University with concentrations in Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology. Since 2024, she has been a part of Purple Oak Health, contributing to its growth through marketing and social media initiatives.

Beyond her volunteer work, Ava is passionate about creative expression, including painting, playing the guitar, and immersing herself in novels that explore themes of psychoanalysis. Dedicated to advancing mental health care, Ava is eager to continue growing alongside Purple Oak Health and making a meaningful impact in the field.

Kyle D’Antimo (he/him)

Kyle is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. He is passionate about providing a client-centered, supportive, and empathetic space where individuals can explore their thoughts and emotions in a non-judgmental environment.

His therapeutic approach is informed by Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). As he continues to grow in his practice, he remains open to integrating other modalities to best support his clients. Kyle is particularly interested in working with adults at various life stages, helping them navigate concerns such as anxiety, stress management, and life transitions.

Outside of his work and studies, Kyle enjoys hiking, camping, weightlifting, and reading. Dedicated to both personal and professional development, he is excited to expand his therapeutic toolbox and foster meaningful connections at Purple Oak Health.
